Burn victim of political violence
The Jamatul Mujahidin Bangladesh (JMB) was formed in 1998 in Jamalpur district of Bangladesh. In 2005, JMB committed a series of bomb attacks all over the country; there were some leaflets found on bombsites linking their ideological views, where they mentioned, “We’re the soldiers of Allah. We’ve taken up arms to implement Allah’s law the way the Prophet, Sahabis, and heroic Mujahideen have done for centuries. It is time to implement Islamic law in Bangladesh. There is no future with man-made law”.
JMB launched suicide bomb attacks in Gazipur Court on November 29 and again in Gazipur on December 1, 2005, leaving 13 persons, including two members of the suicide squad of JMB, lawyers, Police, and over 100 injured. Some also died in Dhaka Medical College Hospital.2005 Bangladesh.
